Hope House was opened in September 2019 and is our “Community Hub”. This has enabled us to develop links into the community and also provide a home for our original support groups.

Hope House is very much a home from home atmosphere and everyone is welcome…

At BFS, we are all about community spirit and supporting one another.

Our three original support groups are now based at Hope House. They are:

  • Bosom Family Support Group
  • Liferafts group for young adults and children
  • The Bosom Belles Choir

We now have qualified counsellors who run free sessions funded by our charity. These counselling sessions are available to any member of the family with issues relating to cancer or bereavement, subject to referral.

At Hope House we also have a fantastic treatment room to facilitate holistic therapies to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. This is a great way to enhance well-being during a very physically and emotionally challenging time.

Finally, we have a weekly programme of activities, ranging from Arts and Crafts to flower arranging, and many others in between!  Anyone in the local community is welcome to come along to these sessions and have fun whilst learning new skills and making new friends.
